MochaImport Tutorial for After Effects
In this tutorial I explain how to use my free After Effects script MochaImport which simplifies the usage of MochaAE with After Effects.

With the script the following tasks can be done as one click operations:
- create corner pin
- create CC power pin
- create AE trackpoints from Mocha track
- stabilize footage
- move layers according to track
- create a precomp in which the footage is stabilized while maintaining the movement in the original composition.

Marking segments with Twixtor



Optical Flow retiming might not work well when you work with footage that has cuts in it (i.e the gloopyness effect might not be what you want). If the footage was preedited elsewhere or you precomposed a set of layers, you might see some warping artifacts as you cross a scene cut point (or even a transition like a dissolve). In this tutorial we show you how to mark such segments in Twixtor so your retiming is not affected by such issue.

Вопрос: в 90-м уроке Эндрю Крамера, который называется "3D город", Эндрю делает прекомпоз всего одного графического слоя одной из композиций. Обычно прекомпоз делается для нескольких слоев, чтобы объединить их в один. Для чего Крамер делал прекомпоз одного слоя?

Не знаю для чего там Крамер прекомпоз делает, не смотрел.
Но прекомпоз одного слоя иногда помогает.
Не все плагины работают корректно с масками например
Примени к слою Checkerboard или Advanced Lightning(они между собой то не дружат ) и обрежь слой маской У тебя ничего не выйдет. Вот в таких случаях и нужен прекомпоз, эффект внутри слоя прекомпоза, а маска накладывается уже на сам прекомпоз.

SergMvideo, CC Ball Action входит в состав комплекта Cycore FX effects (СС - это сокращение от Cycore, да и вообще почти любые эффекты легко Гугляться по их названию...)
